We know everyone is getting their home ready for the holidays and we can’t think of a better time to remind you that getting holiday-ready is amazing, what is even more, amazing is adding winter décor that will not be outdated by January 8th but instead stays and has you feeling all the winter feels cozied up in your home throughout the whole winter. After all, we will be spending A LOT of time in our homes the next few months.

Let’s get started by bringing in some warmth to your spaces by draping (faux) sheepskin pelts over your armchairs, dining chairs, and/or benches you can even add it to your floor. It will give you a cozy feeling while looking stylish and winter-ready. You don't have to part ways until spring. 

Something we love incorporating into homes, regardless of the season, are plants. However, in winter months even more so. As lifeless as the landscape looks outside during the cold winter months, doesn’t mean your interiors have to follow suit. Incorporate plants/greenery to give your space extra happiness and liveliness all at the same time.

With the shortened days in winter adding illumination is a must. A great way to do that is using candles – they have a calming glow and wintery vibe. You can use candle holders and votives for a go-to accent while bringing different dimensions for the placement of your candles.

Bringing in floor lamps are also a great source to illuminate dark corners, you can also add small fixtures atop side tables. A more permanent solution can be a pendant light and/or wall sconces.

Finally your bedroom even though used only by you it should be prepared for the cold-weather season, you will be so happy you gave it that extra TLC it deserves. Start by layering in textured bedding, throws, and pillows. Winter room décor turns a bedroom into a cozy haven from the winter outdoors. The best part is that they are easy accents to swap out when the long winter is over.
